| Dog locked in car at work Hello,
I was outside of work taking a quick break and I noticed that there was a dog locked in a car, w/o the windows rolled down. It's about 70 degress right now and I know that if left in there, it won't make it.
I notified our building manager and provided them w/ the plates and make/model of the car, but is there anything else I should be doing??
Thanks!!
Heather

| Call the police ASAP... That is animal cruelty were i come from. A car can be 20 degrees hotter inside than outside. In a very short period they can get very very very sick.

| | Alpha | I agree with calling the police. To me it's the same as locking a kid inside without the car running or windows down.
Poor puppy If it were me I would stake out the car and wait for the idiot to come outside and would chew their a$$!

| I would like to lock the owner up in the car with no windows down and no water and see how long they last for!! I HATE THAT!!!
We had the same thing happen to us this weekend! We were over on Whidbey Island on Sunday when it was really hot well like 90 something and these people had stopped off at the brewery we were at and left their dog in the car! The windows were barely rolled down. They had a plastic dish in there that looked like it should have been a water bowl but it was empty and it was in the sun!! So I ran into the brewery and told the owners to start asking people who's car it was!! Poor little thing was panting like crazy!!! Finally I saw someone coming out to the car when we left.
Let us know what happens! |

| Here in CA police actually have the right to break into a vehicle if a child or pet is left unattended. Please keep us updated. |

| The longest i leave lexx in the car is the time it takes me to run inside and go to the bathroom on a road trip. PLus, he ALWAYS has the windows down and I hate doing it even for that long.
How can people be so insensitive about their pets? clearly they get hot too!
