| Does your dobe watch tv? Luca loves to watch TV. Sports gets his attention. Reality shows too. I think it's because there is more action loud noises running around I'm waiting for him to go after the person running with the ball. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

| Does your dobe watch tv? My boy loves to watch tv. He seems like he really gets into it too. He most excited and into I have seen him was when my husband was watching one of him hunting DVDs and different calls were being used. He was so alert and ready for action! | My last dobe Zillah used to love watching tv...or chatting on skype and watching you-tube. He had a real issue with certain cartoons or animated advertisments and would recognise the characters even out of context. He loved any show with horses in it (especially dramas and movies about horse racing), but quickly lost interest in Inspector Rex after Rex ran past one of the bad guys without realising it. The snort of disdain from Zil as he watched this had to be seen/heard to be believed...but he boycotted the show after that.
I miss having a dobe head checking around behind the computer screen to find his friends on skype.

| Aw, I love the video. I've figured it out! The TV is, too high on the wall for Kiss to watch it comfortably. That's it! Has to be, right? Kiss does look at the TV whenever a dog barks, then she looks at the TV, sees the dog, then runs barking to the front door. I guess she wants to go out and investigate or play with whoever is out there. I wish she would watch TV. Love this post. |

| People tell me that dogs can only "hear" not see the tv clearly, but even if its muted he will watch it. Sometimes he tries to bite the moving animals on the screen lol Thanks for your posts, I'm going to DVR the shows you guys mentioned. I know Snoop's new favorite is Animal Cops Houston |

| some dogs can definitely see.
Try getting the dvd of eight below....it was one of Zil's favorites....and he displayed the emotions that the dogs were going through on screen as if he was going through it too...he was totally enthralled by the entire movie!

| Hi and welcome to the forum. My Baron watches TV on and off. When we first got him, he was obsessed with the TV but now only when something of interest catches his attention like a dog barking or other animal noises. Sometimes people running across the screen like in a football game will catch his attention also.

| Fiona does sometimes. She loves watching Funny Farm with me and I haven't been able to figure out why. After the first time she watched it I emailed Ali and told her she was better at matching puppies to people than I had ever dreamed of...whodda thunk she could find me a puppy who shares my love of Chevy Chase movies?
Tali doesn't watch t.v. but I'm pretty sure she reads. She's one of those intellectual elitists.

| Lexi will watch TV every now and then but it's brief.
Usually if she hears another dog...or all the nature noises from Discovery Channel shows.
Her hackles will go up and she patrols the house after looking at the TV for a minute. But she doesn't stare at it.
