Hi all I am new to the site. I currently have 5 month old female Rhodesian Ridgeback. I am looking at possibly getting a Doberman. I have always found Dobermans an attractive breed both personality and looks wise. However, I do have many questions before deciding whether a Doberman is right for my household

Not sure when your timeframe is for adding another dog to your family, but most would probably recommend waiting until your girl is older before bringing a pup in. That, and same-sex aggression is prevalent among dobermans so you should opt for a male when the time comes.
Were you thinking of adopting a rescue or purchasing from a breeder?
