Hey guys, just thought i'd say hi!
The names Chris, i'm 20 years old (21 soonish) from England UK, and have recently qualified as a Biomedical Scientist.
I have never owner a doberman before, so thought I would find out all I could and educate myself as much as possible on them before getting one.
I am not new to dogs, I currently care for a 9 month old british bulldog called beefy (he's my brothers but he works full time so I have done all his training etc), my partner owns two Labradors, a brown one called barney, and a black one called alfie.
Well thats the basic's about me, hello and I am looking forwards to being a active and hopefully useful member here

Thanks, he is a lovely dog, as friendly as can be, loves everyone and everything, he has been bitten 3 times now by poorly trained dogs but he still hasn't learned his lesson about playing with every dog he sees!
Only downside of him is his snorning, he sleeps in his basket downstairs, I sleep upstairs, doors closed inbetween us and I can still hear him snoring!

Out of curiosity, what interests you in this breed? Other than their all-around awesomeness of course.

I personally have always been interested in larger breeds, lab's, husky's. rottweilers, german shepherds, but I have always loved this dog from being a young child (I am sure they appeared in a few of my favorite movies), so when I became in a position to be able to look after a dog both financially and time wise I done my research into many different breeds, and despite the fact that the doberman appears in many movies as the big bad dog they sound ideal for me, but just incase I had all my facts wrong I thought I would join up here and talk to a few of you doberman experts.
