| Thank you everyone! I am so ancy tonight and cannot WAIT to get her home! It's obvious she has not had much training as she doesn't know many boundaries, but it was "love at first lean against my leg" for me! She was perfectly content to sit in my lap--once she made a few laps around the adoption room! I feel very blessed to have her and am very lucky that I have so many connections in rescue!
As for names, I have a few in mind...Farrah, Elsie, Keeva, Regan....but I won't know for sure until I get to know her!
Name suggestions are greatly appreciated! She's very petite and feminine, so I am looking for something exotic and beautiful! |

| She is a beauty! I'm glad she will have a great loving home! I rescued my doberman from a local humane society after her owner decided they didn't want her anymore. Their loss is my absolute gain! You said you were looking for a name that was exotic and beautiful......so you may like the name I gave to my dobergirl. Her name is Jasmine! Other name suggestions I could think of off the top of my head are: Beauty, Aurora, Jemma, and Belle.
Excited for you! By the way, the trying/wanting to sit in your lap continues when they grow up in my experience. Jasmine (who is 11 months old) tries to sit in my lap all the time unaware that she weighs 70ish pounds!!

And I am TOTALLY ok with her sitting in my lap! She's going to have to fight off 4 toy poodles though! Hahaha! Even though she didn't have any idea who I was today, she was more than content to sit directly on my while she chewed on a toy! Such a little Queen... |

| Do you have any interests you could name her after or relating to??
My boy's name is actually a term from school- though you hardly ever see Rouleaux formation outside of large animal (commonly occurs in horses- I work small animals).

I agree, she is very cat-like and feminine. As for name suggestions? She looks Egyptian to me so - Cairo, Femi, Isis, Nailah, Sagira, Shani... You could also go old Hollywood glam and name her Elizabeth - as in Ms. Taylor, as in CLEOPATRA! |

| She is home and I a BEYOND in love! On my way to pick her up from the shelter, I had to pick up my youngest poodle from the vet (he is a rescue that was dumped in a parking lot with a broken femoral head when he was 10 weeks. I had to have his leg reevaluated today). She payed him almost no mind on the way home and focused on chewing her bully stick for the entire ride. It took her all of about 20 minutes to bond with me. Halfway home, she decided that she was a lap dog. After repeatedly removing her giant self from my lap, she finally settled for smooshing her body against mine and wrapping her head around my neck. Once we got home, I introduced her to my other three poodles through a fence and she was very polite and unphased. My poodles were a barking and growling like a naughty pack of wild beasts. After that, I brought her inside on a leash. It was obvious she was going to behave to I let her free. She has been nothing but sweet and gentle with all of them (My youngest is just over 3 lbs and my biggest is 9 lbs.) She was completely uninterested in the cats...In fact, one of them went after her completely unprovoked and sent her yelping into the living room! She's giving them a wide berth now. Poor sweet baby! She definitely needs some work on manners, but for being a shelter dog, is quite well adjusted and confident. She is already absolutely OBSESSED with me! And I'm not gonna lie....I kind of like it! She is sleeping pressed against me enjoying probably the first soft bed she's had in a very long time....
Going to try and figure out a name tonight!
Will post photos soon! |

| She sounds sweet and I don't think she will waste anytime with bonding to you! What a gem you found
What about "Amulet"?
An amulet can be any object but its most important characteristic is its alleged power to protect its owner from danger or harm.[1] Potential amulets include gems, especially engraved gems, statues, coins, drawings, pendants, rings, plants and animals; even words in the form of a magical spell, incantation, to repel evil or bad luck. |

| Elsie's such a pretty girl, thank you so much for giving her her forever home.
My boy Trooper was just as skinny as Elsie when we adopted him 6 months ago. With good food & loving care you'll soon have her at a nice weight.
I love the pics, she looks an absolute sweetheart. I look forward to watching her blossom.
