| Hello from WA! Glad to be here!
My husband and I got extremely lucky and had the chance to adopt our new doberman from the local shelter yesterday! He's a very handsome 5 month old puppy. Handsome and rambunctious! We were worn out after several hours.
He came from a very loving home! He was taught Sit, Down, and Wait. Of course we're still working to perfect it. And I believe he was in the process of being housebroken - maybe being at the shelter brought him to square 1...
We're extremely excited about our new family member. (The cat certainly isn't) - We're also re-naming him, we're thinking Roman. He actually responds to it.
Now, I'm off to read more on nipping/teething and potty training! Can't wait to learn as much as I can! |

Do you know why he was surrendered? you are so lucky to pick up a 5 mth puppy with standing cropped ears from a shelter - wow!

Not completely sure. But they brought him to the shelter with everything! Dishes for food and water, his Kong toys, leash, kennel. They really loved him. |
