Hi guys!
As we all know, since I'm posting to this thread :D, I am new and am excited to join this community. I have 3 dobermans currently; Lilly, Raider, Bella. The two females are 2 years old and the male is about 10 months old.

I do have a quick question for everyone, does anyone recommend a good shampoo for your dobie? I know they can have dry skin every now and then. And since my three are currently in AZ they a little dryer skin than normal.

Thank you guys!!

Welcome to DT! And... SHARE PHOTOS OF YOUR DOGS, PLZ!

I use mild hypoallergenic type shampoos. Stuff that's gentle enough for young kittens and puppies, but still works great for adult dogs. I think bathing too often can cause dry skin as well. Dunno how dirty your dobes get out there, but I rarely have to bathe Riley and he never stinks. I mostly just bathe him when he gets into something or flopped in the mud.

Welcome to DT from another Texan! :D

We use a shampoo we buy at our vet's. It's "DermaLyte" by DermaPet. Hypo-allergenic, no animal protein, essential fatty acids, all natural, no soap or dyes, environmental formula, and has a really nice coconut scent since it contains coconut oil. We bathe our girl a couple of times a month. Her coat looks great and she smells wonderful, if I do say so myself. ;)
