| My first dobergirl!!!!
Looks like everyone here likes them! Perhaps pm the op on the above post and ask her about her Pinecrest dog, nothing better than hearing from another owner.

| I'm not familiar with Pine Crest Dobermans, and generally, I'm very cautious about breeders here in MN. What is the pup's pedigree?
Take a look at this thread, which will help you get all the information you need to ask the right questions of your breeder: **Read This First: Helpful Breeder/Breeding Information**
You may also want to take a look at Jaimand Dobermans, who are located right across the border in North Dakota. I believe she has a litter due in March: Planned Litters/Adoptions
Good luck with your search, and welcome!

| Pine Crest has some good looking dogs. They have a few dogs listed in OFA. Who is the sire/dam of your prospective pup? Pine Crest Dobermans - Home

Pine Crest Dobermans - Home | Wow, is it possible Minnesota will finally have a decent breeder? I'd want to know all about their health testing, of course, but things look decently promising from their website.

| If all the health testing is complete, this sounds like a promising litter.

| | Lil Pup | I was told that the health of the mother is excellent but that she is affected with vWD. she will be bred to a clear stud, so the puppies will be carriers. He wants $1800 for a companion dog. Does that sound about right? I am cautious because they want a $500 deposit ASAP as they say the litter will be spoken for quickly. Evidently the bitch is co-owned and the breeder is from Alberta, Canada |

Do you have other health test results, particularly the last Echo and Holter on both parents?

| | Lil Pup | Well, the sire has yet to be determined. The bitch tested negative for cardio and hips were excellent. No wobblers in the line either. He said the stud will have a good health record as well. |

| I love my girl from Pine Crest and she has a fabulous pedigree. Health testing was great. I replied to your PM so look for that. I too am interested in who the sire will be. I converse with Bill sometimes 4 of 5 times a week and I don't recall him mentioning a prospective breeding but I can certainly ask and see what his potential plans are. Knowing Bill, I'm sure he has a very firm idea of who the stud will be regarding this breeding. He plans everything very carefully.
In addition, I've done some research on Gentry Dobermans in Canada and I believe they are an A+ breeder as well. Debbie has worked closely with Bill of Pine Crest in the past and they've produced some very nice looking dogs. I know Debbie also has the littermate for my girl who is 1 point away from her Can Ch. |

| Did you get a pup from this breeding? I saw the one puppy two weeks ago that went back to the owners of Sassi, as Sassi died from complications following her spay while in Alberta :-( How said is that....

| Another affected Agador girl. So sad. I understand she bled out internally in the wee hours of the AM, no indication of problems.
Horrible, and why for the breeding that ends up with affecteds... |
