| Hello from NJ!
Hi everyone!
I just wanted to say hi because I'm new to the forum. I was Googling some stuff on Dobermans which led me to a thread from this forum and thought I'd sign up. I have lot of friends who are dog lovers and owners, but none of them have Dobies. I had the fortune of meeting a couple in a bar one night who owned a Dobie and we talked for a long time about the breed and their unique characteristics. I see other Dobe owners in my area so rarely that when I do see one I stop dead in my tracks. That said, I thought it would be cool to chat with others about one of the great loves of my life.
A little bit about our dogs. Atlas is our male 3 year old Doberman (black/rust) that we purchased from a breeder as a pup. A year and a half later, we rescued Calypso, a female red-nose Pitbull, who can disprove any negativity about this often misunderstood breed.
