Hi from Kansas

Hi! My name is Carmen. We got a puppy a few weeks ago. Bonnie came from a bad situation and we got her WAY earlier than we should have.....5 weeks old! She is growing and doing good tho at 2 months old. Bonnie gets to be a "farm" dog. We have horses, goats, poultry, mini pigs and burros. She's not too happy going outside right now because we have snow on the ground and she doesn't care much for it. LOL She's also not too sure about the critters out here....guineas scare her to death! The outdoor cats tolerate her pretty well and one of the indoor cats does too.

Welcome! I too got my boy at five weeks from a bad situation, he is now 11 months and is a great pup. A farm is the best place for a happy dog, she will become accustomed to all of it . This is a wonderful forum and we all do enjoy photos!

Hi and welcome to DT!

I agree with atomic, farms are great places for dogs, so much going on, lots of 'jobs' for them and fun things to do all day.

I hope you will post some photos of Bonnie and all your farm critters too.

Hugz to Bonnie.

Welcome to DT from Colorado!

I found your carefully parsed statement "The outdoor cats tolerate her pretty well and one of the indoor cats does too.” rather amusing. LOL

Hope she and the other farm critters find a way to make peace with each other. Keep us up to date with her progress as she grows and be SURE to include LOTS of pictures.
