Nice site. like seeing fellow dobie lovers conversing and sharing info. I have a 2 yr old doberman named Flex. He is such a good dog and is beautiful. don't know if i could ever abandon this breed.

Hiya welcome to the forum! We're on our first dobe a girl called Ellie, she's just turned 8 months and think you're right, could never abandon this breed either! In fact we're already thinking of getting another! Sure you'll have lots to offer everyone here! Enjoy!

I have never been around a dog that has more brains and personality. he is such a goofball but can be as serious as can be when needed to be.

Gunner is our third Dobe and our first boy. Lost our first one, Ebony, at 6 from Polysythemia. Rescued our second, Chloe, at 16 weeks of age and had her for 15 years. Got Gunner from Florida Doberman Rescue this June at 11 months. Just had our first experience fostering a Dobe and, I must say, it was tough giving her up!

I'm sure that many people have their favorite breeds but I have met more hard-core Dobe-Humans than any other breed-specific class of Homo-Sapiens.

Dobermans - Bet you can't have just one...
