Thank you for your reply. I see I have much to learn. The tugging we have fun with. I run with her everyday, I bring her in the house most of the day, I found keeping her on a leash in the house is working. I feel bad about the neck pokes, I hope she forgives me, I won't do that again. I keep her in the house until midnight and she seems happy to go out and lay down on porch. She's safe out there, I have 12 ft high walls with barbwire. She does smell, so if I can't bath her what can I do to get the smell off of her? I'm reading a lot about training. I see she is making effort not to bite, she replaces it with licks. I'm home all day so I know she's getting lots of attention. I'm glad there are people like you to help a new doberman owner like me. My wife has never been around dogs so she a little afraid. So were all learning, thank you
