We have one red Dobie aged 4. We live in the country on acreage to run in. He is an athlete, we play and run. Skin eruptions in no particular order along his back and some on his sides. There are bumps, one I expressed and there was pus in it. He does not scratch. He's on the Blue chicken kibble. I'm going to try him on Salmon. He takes Omega 3 caps. He's on dermacept chewable tabs (Bioflavanol & Omega Fatty acids.) No loss of hair. He will see the vet again on Thursday December 9th, to address this issue. When some of the bumps pop or open I have dabbed them with gentian violet. Whatever this is it doesn't seen to erupt in the same place. He drinks fresh well water, without chemicals. He also accumulates some thick exudate in his eyes. Sometimes his eyes are very dark red. His thyroid was cleared, and he was negative for Cushings. I'm leaning more to an environmental cause: ie his food. All help appreciated, New kid on the block
