I taught him and he finally did it without me physically having to move him around! I am so proud! |

| Nice job. If you want, you can do shaping which means you don't manhandle them but they have to figure out what you want. Just another way of training. It's my preferred method for things like this, but you did a great job!

| Oh, that's so great! He looks like he's concentrating very hard!
I wish I had a "play dead" and "roll over" with Elka...I admittedly haven't worked all that hard on it. She has a distinct aversion to being on her back, other than when she's aggressively cuddling. |

| Nice video! Looks like he is doing great! I agree with Adara you dont really have to man handle. I have taught two of mine & my daughter her's all play dead without ever touching the dog.

| By man handle I really just mean, physically laying him on his side, click and treat. Nothing rough. Thanks for the compliments!! |

Thanks for the compliments!! | Yeah, Elka does not dig this in the slightest. I can push her, though, and then it's a game! (especially because I want the cue to be "Demon, out!", it works just fine. When she does it. Which is currently only on the bed.) |

| I just practice 15 minutes twice a day in all sorts of locations so he will be comfortable doing his tricks anywhere and with anyone around. |
