| | Lil Dog | Victoria Stilwell Any opinions, thoughts, etc. on the English trainer, Victoria Stilwell. She has a show on Animal Planet and some books out. I've watched a couple of her shows, and she seems to be good at what she does. Though I did watch this one show where they showed the dog's poop one too many times for my liking. |

| I really like Victoria Stillwell's show, much better than the Dog Whisperer in my opinion :-)

I think she seems to work a lot of just good common sense and normal dog behavior............. not fancy stuff, but it works! I've also noticed that most of her shows that I've happened to see involve people with 2 dogs that are littermates - the one with Greyhounds comes to mind and I think another one with hounds of some sort.... can't remember.

I like a lot of her techniques... they make total sense. She seems to talk sense into a lot of clueless people. |

| From watching her show, it seems like people in the UK are willing to put up with a lot more hassle from their pets. I watched one where this dog was peeing on the bread basket on top of the kitchen counter for seven years straight. Had that been the U.S., the dog would have been in the pound in no time. |

| I caught her show once... this couple that had two dogs... dont remember their breed... and the owners would could these huge meals for these dogs... and they would be so exhausted- that they would eat tv dinners... i'm talking fully cooked brisket, veggies and pasta... eating better than they were! Victoria was stunned. She got the dogs eating dog food!! haha... what idiot people! |

| | Big Dog | I think she has one of the best training dog shows on tv. Yes, the majority of them seem to have people with no common sense, but if you really look at it she addresses issues a lot of people have with their pets. I think her approach is the most natural and it is one I agree with.

Forget it... ban them all. Misinformation rules.
I'm done here. I guess I just not smart enough about the genetic code to play here. |
