Thanks for the update and pics !!

I can't wait for the day Casper can ignore an alley of dogs - although he is getting much better with his leash aggression issues

A lot of the dogs seem to have trouble with the sit/down/stay and recall in the alley of dogs exercise. I always practiced sit/stay and recall with Red in a variety of places with lots of distractions, so this is one exercise that he is proofed on. It just takes a lot of time and practice, but it's definitely worth it!

Sounds like you two are doing great! Thanks for posting about what your working on each week. Sounds like a really good class and I really like the methods they appear to be using. Nice pic of Red standing by Yoda and Dark Vader - they all look like buds now Red definitely looks like he is enjoying himself - more fun then a chore - great job!!

Man if you were not so far away. I would beg you to help me. I think you should go into the dog training business. You do a great job with your boy.

haha thanks, Doberdog! But you give me far too much credit - I think Red's personality has everything to do with our success. He's so willing to work and is very eager to please - which makes training really easy, especially for a newb like me
