Stronghaus/Chris Carr?

Dog Trainer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Stronghaus Chris Carr.

Has anyone had any personal experience with him or his training? Whenever I decide to get my dobe, I was thinking about having him train my dog. He seems very experienced and knowledgeable and is very close to my area. Anyone know anything first hand? Anything would be appreciated.

-JB.

I really don't know anything about them and the site did not go into their training methods.

I find that going to a basic obedience class and observing is the best way to find out if you are comfortable with a trainer. I would call them and ask if you can observe a class. If they balk at that, then I would keep looking.

There are some pretty crappy trainers out there that tend to use very harsh training methods on big breeds - you do not want that kind of trainer.

I know Chris Carr is pretty highly thought of as a Schutzhund/IPO Helper/Trainer. He has successfully competed, trained, and titled quite a few of his own dogs.

I have never trained with him though, so I cant really comment on his training methods, style, etc.

qtowni3 is on a distinguished road
Chris Carr is amazing

I have a 9 month old Cane Corso Mastiff That was is 110lbs. I had chriss come out to my hose and in 15 minutes he had my dog acting like a completly diffrent person. The most suprising thing is he didn't use any treats. I have tried alot of diffrent trainers and pet class but when my frinds started telling me about chris and how good he was I decided why not give him a try and i found out that chris carr is the real package. If you truley want a good well obidient dog I would call him asap.
