Our trainer has moved to a new facility so they had some cameras in class last Sunday for the last day at the old place. I thought I'd share the link to her photo gallery with some shots of Boris and me in an average day at school. There is obviously a dominating percentage of GSD's there, but Boris is the only Dobe, so we should be easy to pick out of the crowd.
Doggy school

Boris is still pretty novice, but he's making a lot of progress with everything and everyone loves him there.
We even merged with an advanced class and did a "trail of treats" drill where we had to walk down an aisle lined with tempting treats and make the dog focus on us. Boris did pretty well until we had to walk down and stop, then let the advanced trainer stoop down and offer a treat without saying a word to the dog.... Pffft...

Yes, the group is very nice and we all have a good time there. The old dog training club we used to take our GSP to was totally opposite and made every newcomer feel like they were totally below their little "clique". It's too bad they have to act like that since they chased a lot of the newbies trying to get some training for their dogs away....
