| Thanks Kim, I am bummed we are so far out west too, I bet Kai and Rah would have a blast together.
I have been a bad Dobie mom and not taken a lot of pictures lately, I will try to remedy that.
We went herding yesterday morning and had a blast, really I would recommend it to anyone if their dog show instinct (I found out there are 18 "titled" Dobies through the American Herding Breed Association and I am trying to get the Australian Shepherd Club to allow them to compete as well). It is awesome exercise for you and your dog!
Kai thinks like Rah, the whole cart thing can just go away, but sometimes when I am short on time, he needs some exercise.
Keep the videos coming Kim, they really inspire me!

What about distracting him with his favorite treat. Does He like peanut butter? When he gets all amped up, have him refocus on you as soon as he does give him the peanut butter. Sticky enough to keep him occupied. |

| Kim,
Thanks for sharing your videos. It was truly inspiring. I really enjoyed seeing you 2 in action. So wonderful to see how attentive your dog was. I'm getting my first Dobe June 2nd, and I can only hope that my relationship with him, is as good as you and your dog!!
Thanks again! |

| Thanks for sharing your videos Kim. It has been a while since I worked on the BH. Rah has great focus! Berlin is also doing great for his age. Wow! When I did heeling, we did the military about turn. Do you do this also?

| His focus is good, and yes, forging a bit- but it won't be a big deal for the BH. In shorter grass when you can move quicker the forging/crabbing will be much less. Remember in schutzhund obedience both arms are to be swinging naturally- you'll get dinged big time for having your left arm at your waist. You give a fair amount of handler help on both out of motion exercises, but again, it'll just be commented on in the critique but not anything that will fail you. Overall, a very nice picture and you should have no problem passing.
Berlin's heeling looks great!!

I have a bit of the same problem with Hector and that works for me!
