How sad, do I take it, it was aimed at someone, not simply to emphasise his contempt at some situation.
I guess we can all get a little heated from time to time. Whilst sometimes I may use the occasional word that may seem a little harsh, I have always tried to refrain from directing my more colourful metaphors when addressing an individual.
However, I guess in future it may serve me to remember that some folk do not understand that in the UK (in particular) the use of some words, words which some might construe as being swear words, are often used in day to day language and because of considered so commonplace as to no longer be considered offensive in the least. | |
