My relationship is obviously still new and exciting...
My BF is a little dejected when I greet the dogs before him.

My husband was pissy with me this morning (see my thread in Puppy Corner
), so he didn't kiss me before he left. Oh well, Bruce gave mom all kinds of nice kisses to make up for it lol.

Been married 43 years and DH has always known since the beginning what the "pecking" order is/was: Dogs-horse-cat! Now only dog!

The topic of divorce starts comes up, much too frequently, & an admirable split of assets have been been fully agreed upon, in a rather fair manner:
Mutual aggreement is intact - until last question, to answer (avoided thus far) "who does the dobe(s) live with, after the legal split ??
- so the marrige holds together, in spite of the constant struggle, bickering & love loss
- now one taboo topic never comes up, ...
...unless the dogs are sleepy tired and its their nap time (LOL)
