Places to eat in San Francisco?

We have to make a day trip to San Francisco so I was hoping to get some recommendations on where to eat. We're not picky on what kind of food.

I have always found Trip Advisor to be a pretty good resource for best restaurants. Have fun!

There are so many good seafood places there! I personally liek McKormick's and Kulletto's. It overlooks the bay and if you go at about sunset it is very pretty.

Thanks for the tip. I've been Googling but I'm mostly finding touristy street food and just out of the way places that would be fine if we're there for the weekend but too much of a hassle when we're just looking for something different to fill our stomachs with lol.

Interesting stuff on their menu. Ever had their salmon club sandwich? That sounds delicious. How fancy is the place? I'll have a 1 month old and a 3 year old with me so can't be too fancy.

Well, like many places there it varies. There is no dress code. I have seen people in formal attire and people in jeans and a t-shirt. Being so close to Fisherman's Wharf means there are a lot of tourists.

I can't say that I have had their salmon sandwich, but in the 5 or 6 times I have been I have never been unhappy with my choice.

That's good to hear. I'll see what the other half thinks.

Every time I go to SF I go to Gary Dankos. Their lobster risotto is delicious!

When I lived in the SF bay area, Tadich Grill was always a favorite for lunch
