| I am so sorry for those of you that 2012 brought hardship to. May 2013 be the best year ever!
2012 was a great year for us....
I handed Wheeler over to Tina Harbert in November 2012 with 7 single points and in just 4 weekends he finished his CH title, getting his last needed point on January 20th.
Lola was whelped on 2/12 and came home to me in April, she is a very fun girl and shows much promise.
In May my eldest Granddaughter came out from California and we spent 2-1/2 weeks touring Kentucky and points South, just the 2 of us. The most time I have been able to spend with her in 10 years.
In June our first GrandSON and fifth Grandchild was born.
In July both our Daughter's and Son-In-Laws were able to come and spend a week with us, at the same time; Devynne and Kevin from South Carolina and Rachel and Andrew from Portland.
In August, after 7 months at home - we sent Wheeler out to the shows again as a Special. In 4 weekends he brought home 1 - Select Dog, 1 - BOS and 2 - BOB's for a total of 4 Majors and 17 points toward his GRCH. For those interested Wheeler will be at the shows in Novi, Michigan, Jan 17-20th in BOB with Tina and also in Greyslake, IL, Jan 25-27th in BOB with Tina, looking for those last points to complete his GRCH.
In September Lola got her first point from the 6-9 class.
We were able to spend Christmas with my Daughter & Son-In-Law and my parents, who flew to South Carolina from California.
And finally, just 2 days ago on December 29th my husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. Doug is an amazing man, whom I love dearly. My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner.
Best wishes for a Happy New Year to all!

| For the most part, 2012 was a very stressful year and I am glad it is behind us. My DH lost his mother in February. We were expecting it as she was ill for a long time and was 91 years old. She died on the same day her husband died 22 years before.
On a good note, we sold our home in that awful market in 9 months but it was stressful waiting for the appraisal to come through at the price the people were offering. Also, after that came through the buyers wanted the closing date moved up a month and half which left us with 4 weekends to move the rest of our 35 years of living in the same house stuff! A month after we moved in May, the renovations started and finally were just completed Thanksgiving weekend. Still a little bit to go but for the most part it is complete. Was very stressful living in a place were workers are here every day and there is dirt and mess everywhere. But we survived and so did Baron! And now that it is completed, we love it. So 2013 is starting on a really good note!
Another good note for Baron getting his CDX in 3 tries!
Hoping everyone has a happy and healthy and prosperous New Year!

| To everyone who has lost, I'm sorry and wish you all the best for this new year To everyone who has achieved, congratulations and I wish you a equally productive year this year!
Every year at the beginning I write a list of goals for the next year, marking down rough time scales for them too. Last year I said I wanted to save a deposit for a new house, which I managed to achieve by November just in time This year I want to:
-Buy a new house and get this one rented out by November
-Get my driving license (should have done it years ago!) by Feb
-Start sch training and tracking by March
-Get my new puppy doing well in the ring |

| 2012 was a slow year for me. The only thing of note this year was the clinic psychopath quitting suddenly. I am thankful everyday and work is now a happy place.
I did celebrate a couple of small milestones:
1 year smoke free
1 year ex-boyfriend free (had been working on this one for 5+ years) |

| Hard year for us. Lost our kitty to an aggressive cancer pretty suddenly. Lost Simon to osteosarcoma. Hours at my job cut. But Shanoa made a lot of strides this year - we're so thankful for the behaviorist at the U of M - and she's signed up for her first trial to do her ORT in Nosework next month. Richter is a huge highlight, of course. We're looking forward to our first real vacation in many years next month, so 2013 looks pretty good so far!

| Lets see..
- A year full of good health! (My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer, but then 2 weeks later, the lump disappeared, and has not come back for 11 months so far, doctors think it may have just been a cyst and was mis diagnosed!)
- Dogs are happy and healthy
- Wife found her dream job, 5 min from home, making twice the amount she was
previously making and she had to drive an hour downtown.
- Settled in the house we purchased late 2011
There was loss in 2012 though, My wife lost her Grandmother and I lost my Oma. Both were very sick in the end, and they both passed peacefully, ending the pain.
My wife had to put down her 14 year old Lab. That was really hard for her.
That being said, 2012 was a good year full of ups and downs (usually more ups ). But hey, that's life. All I can do is pray that 2013 is as good to my little family as 2012 was!

| in 2012 i finally passed my driving test on the sixth attempt. i got a part time job back at the amusement arcade i worked in before i gave up my job to look after oh's mam who has dementia. oh is now looking after her. i got opie into an outdoor training class, and discovered that my dog may not be perfect but i can trust him 100% off lead round other dogs. we fetched tricky woo home in november, and oh and i got to spend christmas alone because shirley went to stay with her daughter
in 2013 i turn 40, so we're celebrating six months early by going to cuba on holiday. my debts will all be paid off this year so i can start my 40's debt free. i'm also hoping to work my way back up the company and become a manager again i'd like to say that we're going to start planning our wedding but i don't want to marry while we're still caring for his mam. when we start married life i jus want it to be us and our animals. |

| 2012 wasn't overly eventful for us. Lots of financial woes that haven't let up yet.
I did get married in May, that was a highlight: Wedding Photodump (overdue)
And I got accepted into the nursing program at my college. Just under 1,000 applications were submitted and only 200 accepted. I got in on the first try, kinda rare so I'm proud of that.
Classes start Monday and I'm terrified of quitting the job I've been at for 6 years but am determined to better myself.

Do whatever you "need to do" to complete your nursing degree.
I was in pre Law, and my Father became sick.
When I visited my Father, I admired the Nurses at a top Chicago Hospital.
I swore, no matter what happened, I would become a Nurse.
I had to take all of the science and anatomy courses- basically start over.
And, I did. I was in a very strict college with an admitting nursing class of 20.
They graduated 5. I was one of them.
I started my career at Loyola's heart transplant team, specializing in cardio.
Bless you. Bless you.
Good Luck! |

| Most of my memories from 2012 are due to Priscilla.
We lost her in March to OSA, and I went to a BoneCancerDog reunion in Ohio in October.
That was seriously a kick in my gut, to see so much grief, and so much support, with an organization that is trying so hard to make a difference.

I'm looking for a part time job and I know its going to be tough but I'm at a dead end job. I've been a civil litigation paralegal, working as well for the City prosecutor for 6 years. I hate it but fell into that degree after my Dad passed away. My original plan was nursing but I had to be able to work full time after my dad passed and you can't do that while in the nursing program. I'm scared and excited.
Congratulations to you for following your heart. You're actually doing exactly what I want to do.

| 2012 was huge for me.
In January, I started college. (A little late, but it's okay.)
From late 2011 on, we got much more involved in rescue, which has been in many ways life-altering.
In early February, we lost our sweet, beautiful GSD, Piper. This was obviously not good, but I feel so privileged to have known her for any time at all that it seems wrong to not include.
In late February, my Java boy came into my life, changing everything. My, what a ride.
In September, I started volunteering in a local day shelter that serves the homeless in a way that is likely to lead to employment opportunities post-graduation. It is such a phenomenal organization that I feel beyond lucky to be involved in any capacity.
In November, I got married.
Also in November, I bought my husband an early-Christmas fishtank, which became a massive obsession that has not slowed down at all. As we speak, he's in our kitchen building a stand for tank #2, and #3 is in the works for July.
In December, we became members of our church, which was hugely important to me.
Also in December, I got my very first DSLR.
The bar has been set high for 2013.
