| Things you wished you never bought for your Significant other? Well for Christmas aside for getting my boyfriend a whole bunch of gym supplies i decided to get him a trimmer so he can up keep his facial hair, well he decided he wanted to go all army and shave his head with it, shave wacky tacky designs into his hair make a foehawk etc. aside from there being hair all over my bathroom (thankfully he cleaned) and despite my laughter I wish i hadnt gotten it for him.
What are gifts you wish you hadnt bought for you SO and silly stories to boot? Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

| Your story made me giggle a little bit, lol.
For me, he wasn't a gift but I wish I had put my foot down about not letting my boyfriend keep the kitten. I know it's because he's young and because he is not my childhood cat but he is crazy, gets on everything, and breaks all of my (and only my) stuff! The problem is that my childhood cat was perfect - dog-like, lazy, loving, and always purring. I shouldn't compare. Plus, he teases Dreizehn by popping in and out in front of him to start a chase (this was kind of cute the first few times) and then the boyfriend gets mad at Dreizehn for chasing. It annoys me.
But yes, while the cat will remain with us and will always be superbly cared for I wish we had found a home for him before my boyfriend got attached.
ETA: My fingers are crossed that he gets better with age.

| While I got major girlfriend points for buying my boyfriend an exotic car driving experience around a race track for his birthday, I also curse that decision. It totally re-sparked his big interest in cars and then *cue* a ton of FB car page likes and non-stop talking about cars and dreams about cars and blah blah BLAH! Luckily he has shifted all his interest towards guns again, but man, it was ridiculous for a minute there... |

most of the time, if i get him something he OMG REALLY REALLY WANTS, he'll forget it exists in a few weeks' time. he's stopped playing with the Wii i camped out to buy him back when they were released. we use it almost exclusively for Netflix, now. |

| I can't say that I regret getting him anything. I didn't have much money when we got together, and only recently have spare money.
However, I think he regrets some of the gifts he got me. My computer (I'm on it a lot more than when we got together because it's the first custom build I've ever had ) and he probably regrets going 50/50 on the dog (UTIs are... fun. We're still washing the pee smell out of our bedroom. Thank goodness for my spot cleaner). He probably also regrets buying me this as I ensure that it appears in random areas of the house.

| I regretted buying World of Warcraft for my husband. I didn't really realize what it was and just assumed was another computer game. After 6 months of him constantly telling me to try it and me saying "I don't want to play that stupid game", I tried it. I got just as addicted as him and I think sometimes he regretted pushing me into it!

| NBA Jam Beats (or something like that) for the XBOX 360 Kinnect. It's like guitar hero for basketball. So yeah it comes with a real basketball, which you bounce along to the song playing and score points as you go. and learn trick dribbles (or so he raves). It shakes the hardwood floors, walls and windows. And scares the crap out of the dogs because it sounds and feels like thunder inside the house (their worse nightmare, besides running out of kibble that is). So besides listen to thump, thump, thump, thump, thump, thump, thump, thump timed with whatever crap music it's playing (at least my hubby is a drummer and keep time) i have all 4 dogs crammed up my tush shaking and worried.
It was the highlight of his Christmas and since he made me that lovely painting I guess I shouldn't complain to much.

| | Alpha | I regret getting my husband an iPad! He's CONSTANTLY on it. He's always looking at different expensive projects to start that I want no part of, such as opening restaurants, starting different vegetable farms, looking at different places to live, etc. I wish he'd be into normal stuff like video games or movies! Especially since he recently told me that if we opened a restaurant or some sort of farm that I'd have to run them so we wouldn't have to pay someone else to do it! I'm not even in agreement with him. These are all HIS ideas. So anyway, I really wish I could burn his iPad!!! I'm not blaming the iPad but it makes it easier for him to research all the crap he's been looking into. Sorry for my little rant. |

| Total opposite of the threat (Well I aim to be contrary). The thing I'm most happy about buying for my husband was the XBox 360. BEST BABYSITTER EVER. He's in the other room, playing for hours and not a whine out of him I guess after 21 years of being married your priorities shift a little. I did have to laugh when he told me the first week he went online that he had somebody explain to him all the ins and outs of online play but that he wasn't able to finish since it was a school night and his new friend had just turned 11 and his mom sent him to bed. He does love playing Black Ops and Call of Duty. I have no idea why, one would think 20 years in the military would be enough.

| Best and worst gift for my Husband, my father's '71 camaro. Makes me so happy to see him restore a car that was so special to my Dad. It will be amazing when finished. But he spends countless hours working on the car, talking about the car, looking at parts for the car, searching for parts for the car, wanting me to look at parts for the car, see what he's done to the car this week.. This week He has been obsessed with a new blasting material made of walnut shells. I now know so much about sand blasting and walnuts, lol. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

| An RC car. Even though I scored major points, I started an addiction. Now every couple of months, we go through the "another RC car" purchase again. And I'm not talking about those cheap Walmart ones. These ones are couple of hundred of dollars each ( can go into thousands ). But the worst part is the rc car maintenance and professional racing. It takes up sooo much time!!!Sometimes I do regret it...but then, once I see how happy he is when he races his rc car on the track...I forget about it. I guess, even though I complain about it, I wouldn't have it any other way. |
