| I'm glad to hear you are home Porschalei.
I don't know what kind of pain meds that they gave you, probably Norco or Vicodin. Remember, a side effect of these type of pain meds is constipation. So, drink plenty of fluids and fresh fruit for the enzymes. Pineapple with the bromelain is the best. (Did the ER suggest Colace short term?).
I know it's an uncomfortable topic, but considering the location of your injury, you certainly do not want to "strain."
I am a RN, so when I hear "pain meds," I go into my side effect lecture. I am happy you are home and recovering. |
