Exercise! I seem to be topping out with my exercises. Thought I did a hefty weight session yesterday but my body is only in minor pain today, if any.
Anyone have suggestions that I could do at home to change up the routine and fool the muscles? (aside from upping the weights, which I plan to do)
My routine is usually...
Monday
P90X ab ripper (30mins, 300+ various situps)
Billy Blanks Ultimate Bootcamp (1 hour, hundreds of squats and resistance band use for upper body)
Wednesday
Bench Presses, 140lbs - 3 sets, 10 reps.
Kettlebell lift, 45lbs - 3 sets 10 reps.
Kettlebell shoulder curl, 45lbs - 3 sets, 20 reps, 20 reps, 15 reps.
Bicep curls, 30lbs - 3 sets 10 reps.
Pushups - 3 sets, 20 reps, 15 reps, 10 reps. (arms getting tired about now)
Triceps w/5lb weight - 3 sets, 20 reps, 15 reps, 15 reps.
Friday
P90X ab ripper (30mins, 300+ various situps)
Taebo 2, Advanced 1 (1 hour, basically kickboxing...full body cardio, sometimes I use 2.5lb leg and wrist weights)
That's without mentioning that I walk the dog for about 2 hours daily. Might turn part of it into a jog.
I need something that will bring the pain back as I don't want to hit the plateau and significantly slow the progress.
