Sigh...have no idea which phone you are talking about. There is a Samsung Galaxy, supposed to be like a blackberry, for like $60 that walmart employee told me not to buy as everyone brings them back.

Check in your area and see if they use verizon towers and your coverage there. ST uses verizon here, TN, and I can make calls where others can't.

I like Straight Talk for price and reliability. Unlimited talk, text and data for $50.69/30 days. That price includes tax and 911 charge here. Never a dropped call on my part. You have to deal with peeps from India if you have a problem that needs a person. They are better now about being able to understand them than when I first started with ST 3 years ago. Also the automated 411 does not understand southern drawl. That nearly drove me nuts till I figured out what the problem was. Just talk short and clipped and you get your number.
