| Seriously? Grow up! I seriously have no idea what's with me for the past two months. First I've been having horrible grades, not even being able to complete one Math test when I really need to boost up my average, someone in the apartment building is smoking pot all day and it still reeks and no one is doing anything about it, been upset with how my friends back in BC are treating me how I meant nothing to them in the first place, and now I'm wasting my time receiving calls and text messages from immature people who have nothing better to do.
I kid you not, I have already received 17 calls, 5 missed, by unknown numbers telling me that I am under arrest for armed robbery and that my house has been surrounded, an annoying girl screaming at the top of her lungs saying I'm the father of her child (Wth? I'm a girl), some guy yelling at me too to pay him for the money that I owe him from purchasing his drugs from last week (I knew that was a joke because I could hear other voices in the background laughing, telling him to say this or that), and the list can go on. I've even had calls from Oregon at 5 am! I'm already stressed enough about other issues, especially school.I have to prepare for university and my marks are at the pit bottom! Not to mention, endless text messages are raging in... Anyone know how to block numbers? I have a Samsung Galaxy S3.
I seriously don't have time for games... Especially from people who have nothing better to do than waste someone else's time.

| Can't help with the grades or the nighbors, but I have a suggestion about the phone calls. First, change your number. Then, either leave the phone off, or don't answer it unless you recognise the number.

| I studied with music playing and the t.v. on. Yes a waster electricity and cable, but I retained more information with "chaos" than in silence.
As far as the phone calls- I haven't changed my number in 7 years. Dust it off. People are an interesting race and all you need to do is stand by and shake your head. Just remember you are twice the person the idiot scammer or prank caller on the phone is

| How to block people will depend on your provider. Verizon lets you do temp blocks (30 days I think) online.
Sorry to hear that things aren't going so well. |

| I can't change my number since my phone company suck... I have a connected account with my older sister, so if I want to change my number, my sister will have to change her number as well. Stupid, I know right? The number my sister has is connected to so many things that it's going to be a hassle to even consider switching.
I'm choosing to ignore them but I do get phone calls internationally and locally from friends. It costs them to even call me, so I feel bad if I even miss their call. What's interesting is their number is always different every time they call, even though their numbers are the same... (Such as area codes, etc.)
I don't think there is much to do except me just sucking it up and getting over it. Everything has been so stressful.

| so are these creditors calling you (for real or fake debt - we're plagued with the latter), or are these prank calls? if the former, you can ask them to contact you only in writing, and (in the US, at least...) by law they cannot call you after that. if they're prank calls, can you get the police involved? |

| Regards the different overseas numbers, you may find friends and family are using a service which allows them cheaper calls but which routes them all over the place (hence the different numbers showing up) in order to get cheap rate lines. My hubby used to use something similar and you would be surprised where his calls seemed to originate from.
Regards the prank, nuisance calls, you can get (well you can in the UK so I would think you can in the US) your provider to screen calls before you get them.
If this is too much hassle, then buy yourself a 'force ten whistle' and next time some moron calls you at stupid o'clock etc, blow that whistle as loud as you can down the phone and blow their bloody eardrums to kingdom come. It was what we did once when someone thought it funny to phone me incessantly at weird and wonderful times.
You can of course report the calls to the police who may choose to investigate as whilst to some prank calls may seem of little to no consequence to others they are very disturbing to put it mildly. |

Thank god it's gone down... I only received one today. I feel like my new number is cursed or something lol... I don't really want to get the police involved although it is very annoying. It doesn't seem like it's the same person calling me (Although numbers can change, etc...) but it has gotten down, thank goodness.

It's been my main source of stress relief and the cure to almost anything that puts me down... God, I miss my horse. I just miss riding a horse... If only horseback riding wasn't so pricey, eh?

| I'm totally not helping!
I know what you mean. I had to take a couple years off too, and hey, I started out mucking stalls just to get the opportunity to get on! Everything even related to horses are expensive!
Ok, random and silly, but have you asked around if anyone needs an exercise rider? I've found a couple working student type jobs in the past that way. Be persistent! Trust me, I'm a trainer |

Trust me, I'm a trainer | The closest stable is an hour drive away. And I live in a very small city... I know only two people who even ride horses. I have asked if anyone needed an exercise rider and that I will always be available etc., but turns out unless you're not employed there you're not welcome to do anything, including exercise riding. Never been to a stable that had that kind of rule lol
