| Is Wally an alien toad on the surface of Mars?
I saw yesterday that the Curiosity MSL probe has found something "for the History books" on Mars that they have not released yet to media. |

Definitely an alien, but not from Mars. LOL!
Crappy photos sorry guys, but it was 1am and he was a tad camera shy, that or the fact that Toby was after him made for a very unwilling model. |

| Right guys, I am not going to tell you if any of you have guessed right until Sunday.
It doesnt matter if you repeat a guess made by someone else.
If you think it is a 'chipmunk' then say so. However saying 2 things in one post is too obscure. It can't be a 'chipmunk' and a 'vole', it is one or the other.
You can have as many guesses as you wish.
And who knows what will happen.
Here are a couple of clues to help you.
It is inadvisable to pick this or any of his compatriots up.
Farmers here in Spain kill them as they harm our trees by building their homes under the roots.
Hey Beaumont, it was 1am in the morning and despite taking dozens of photos these were the best of the bunch. They are literally this hard to see with the naked eye. I only saw him because he moved across the concrete in front of the soil he eventually settled on.
It doesnt have to be an out of focus shot you post, maybe you have a pic of your dear old Amy (may she rest in peace) hiding in the undergrowth and we have to try find where she is at. Or maybe a bear peering out at you, anything.
Am checking on postal costs to send some lucky person a bottle of my oil so keep on guessing. The winner will be the first person to give me the correct singular answer.

| In Canada I've only ever heard Waldo but it could be because of the US. I was really tempted to google your clues... Is that cheating? I feel like a cant see anything but based on clues (tree damage) I'm guessing a caterpillar and they can also be poisonous in some places... Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

| I guess the confusion could be down to my terrible photos, but honestly folks it is not easy trying to photograph something that.
a) doesnt want to be photographed,
b) is well camouflaged
c) is trying to avoid being eaten/beaten up by a Dobe on a mission to prevent anything that comes onto his land from drawing another breath.
Oh blow it, my hubby says I am being a terrible tease. He is insisting I tell you all what our 'Wally' is.
First however I need contact the winner.
