AKC Registration question - Doberman Forum : Doberman Breed Dog Forums

This may seem odd. I was going through Cuda & Daisy's old records. Both girls were from back yard breeders but I did receive AKC registration apps with both dogs. Can I found out info about the parents with this info?

Cuda DOB 4-12-98 - in Blaine MN
Sire: Buster Saxon WP579080/04 (8-95)
Dam: Countess Von Aphrodite WP487236/01 (8-95)
Litter# WP848216/02

Daisy DOB 12-1-98 - in Baldwin WI
Sire: Jeferia Brae Dominair WP684768/02 (8-98)
Dam: Jeferin Sir Von Debinair WP700051/03 (8-98)
Litter# WP888259/02

It was sad going through the records. We had so many cards from the U of MN Dr's & nurses from when we lost Cuda. She died way too young Nov 1 2004. She was only 6. But if you live in the Twin Cities area I highly recomment the U of M animal hospital for emergencies. They did such a great job trying to save her from kidney failure.

We were lucky enough to have Daisy for 12 years.

Anyways just curious about their blood lines. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!

You could get a copy of their pedigrees from either the AKC or a pedigree service. That would probably be about all you might be able to find, though. For Cuda, it looks like this was the first litter for both sire and dam, going off the stubbook entry (the numbers in paretheses), and the probably the second litter for both of Daisy's sire and dam (likely the second litter of the year, meaning her dam had back to back litters

Daisy's breeder said that the litter was an accident. Both breeders should not have been breeding. I was young & didn't know any better.

I don't regret Cuda & Daisy but with that being said I wouldn't get a dog from a back yard breeder again. Cuda's tail was poorly docked. Daisy had missing teeth (never grew in) & she was a runt. But the best dogs ever!!!

Thanks for the info on how to read those #'s. I went to the AKC site & saw I can order the pedigrees. I was only curious but not curious enough to pay for the info since both dogs are now gone. I am looking forward to our new pup this coming spring.
