You think you're having a bad day!

I'm not sure if there is a thread about this already but I reckoned if there wasn't there should be.

I'll start the ball rolling with...

You think you're having a bad day,

It is pouring down with rain, the roads are flooded, the log pile is soaked through, so I have no dry wood save what I have in the bucket beside the fire. My back is hurting, the dogs want to go for a walk, but are afraid they are going to melt because of the rain but still they are pestering to go.

I hate those days! I have taught my oldest dobe (2 yrs) to walk on a treadmill because of this. The young one is still scared to death of it! Still trying though, it is a godsend on those rainy days.

I was having a good day until I just found out my husband who was due back from the Falklands on his RnR on 22nd Dec for Xmas and NY and now he may not be back until the second week of Jan! So it will be close to 6 months of not seeing him if thats the case. SO fed up right now!

Hope the rain stops for you soon.

You think your having a bad day, (it's gonna be long)

Sunday October 7th was the start of family catastrophe for me. We got news my Great grandmother was failing quickly. We drove the two hours to see her, she was coherent and recognized us. We visited my Grandfather while we were there. Tuesday October 9th my Grandfather suffered a massive heart attack in his home and died. We went to the funeral Friday and visited my Great grandmother again before we drove back home. Sunday October 14th we attended my Great Grandmothers funeral. The beginning of November my husbands Grandmother suffered a mild heart attack and they found she had an 80% blockage and had to put in a stent. His cousin was rushed to the ER the same day with severe abdominal pain and got to have an emergency appendectomy that they thought to be ruptured. Tuesday November 13th my Grandmother was in a horrific car accident. She over corrected her car and launched over a culvert and flipped her car end over end. She landed upside down on a 10 inch wide post. The post went through the sunroof, between her legs, and out the bottom of the car. She missed being impaled by centimeters. She is bruised and swollen from head to toe. Has internal bleeding, broken rib and pinky. She is pretty rough but alive. She should be dead. She is 5 foot and 80 lbs. only by the grace of God did she survive.

I'm ready for a break. I have told all my friends and family to find a safety bubble and spend the rest of their lives in one. I can't handle much more bad news.
