 | Do we know who bred her dogs? Or were they rescues? I can't keep everyones dogs striaght. Maybe we can at least find out if she's ok and just left the forum for whatever reason. I know I disappear every now & again.

| I really think that's all any one on here wants to know, that she is okay. No invasion of privacy, just hoping nothing is wrong and everyone is okay. And yep, at first when I moved where I live I was kinda, "oh GOD, I hope this neighbor is NOT going to drive me nuts" to after a while it is "well, ya know, if I fall down these basement stairs and just lay there the kids might not know that for ??? (weeks?) but the guy next door will notice pronto". So, I ended up giving him emergency keys to my house, car, truck and my kids emgency contact phone numbers. The key thing was because I've locked myself out of the house with my purse, phone, money, etc in said house when I was getting ready to drive out of the driveway to go out of town. I had to wait until the landlord could come and open the door. Did the same thing with the car. Anyway, back on topic.

Here is hoping that everything is fine and there is nothing to worry about. | (mostly to bump this thread) That's actually why my best friend received a key to our house the day my SO bought it and moved in (well, more when we moved in - it was a short sale, so the buying process was pretty lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg) So far we haven't needed to call her, but in the offchance that something happens, it's really nice to know that she's got a key!

| It looks like she has been off for weeks now. I have followed the thread a little and see a letter has been sent to her last known address. Many of you are truly worried for her well-being and some were worried about being overly intrusive or creepy about looking for her. If it comes down to it, you can contact the police within her local jurisdiction and request a well being check. They should respond to check on her and pass a message to contact someone from here on the forum.
Did I read she was living somewhere near the storm damage? Police should also be able to tell you if her area was damaged or destroyed. There are also other public records available that could help track her down. Utilities, hospitals (as long as a release was given), news papers...
Has anyone Googled her name? From What I have read about her, she was the sleuth. What would she do if she was looking for one of you?
If some of our members have met, communicated personally, shown with her, would call her a friend or at least a good aquaintance, surely a check from local authorities would not be unwelcomed if she was in a time of need. | |

| | Alpha | I only joined DT in July, but I share in the concern for Sam&macksmom. I tried sleuthing a bit. I gather that she is in PA, and she posted in 2009 that Sammy passed his CGC. I read through the posts and she did that at the Golden Triangle, so I emailed someone from there. I found other Golden Triangle sites that listed performance awards of different years with owner's names/pet's names, so maybe they can help. I also just PMd her. I figured I had nothing to lose.
