I just don't get why some are attacking PatchworkRobot, when all she did was post a great suggestion to someone having money, time issues, a suggestion that would greatly benefit the OP AND the puppy.
BTW: I may be in a fairytale too, one where people don't post a 'woe is me' thread with only partial information, one where people that have no money and no time do NOT get a new puppy, one where I don't have to check with an OP to find out if it's okay to post a response to their topic.... | Bold is mine and I completely agree.
I don't completely agree with the last part though. Often stuff is omitted, even in threads like these, but, in my experience, the stuff that gets omitted is usually worse. Not saying that's the case here, however. Quote:

Your statement is making the assumption that it's something that I do on a regular basis. One can read the statement and assume that I have a folder (if not multiple folders) of information on people. That is not the case. I simply have a single picture (now two because one has been crudely dated in Photoshop) on my desktop. Do you not have ways to back up statements that you make? Most of the time I can just google things or go into someone's post history on DT but that's not the case here.
I can admit when I've done or said wrong and that's something I've admitted to on DT before. Yes, I rocked the boat, but I feel that my question, and hinted concern, was valid. I felt that way when I first posted and I still do now. This is a doberman forum and a thread about the user specifically so I think my question about her and her new doberman kind of tied in... I wasn't trying to be a dumb beaver(??) but just showing concern for how somebody going through what she's going through is going to handle a puppy. I've already answered as to why I posted here and not in PM.

Childish, lacking tact, and imo, from it's result especially, to stir up drama more than to actually address and find out the facts.
And again I will agree with the "btw" part but hey like I said it's the internet and even in real life you aren't required to say every part of your life and how would you know if they were anyways? Bet it happens more often than you'd like to think.
Does it suck that people keep details hidden? yup but what I deem personal is what I deem personal, and if your interested in knowing that, posting the equivalent of a billboard along a highway asking if I "made out with so and so" or whatever else along personal lines, is not the way to go when you could have say text, or emailed me instead...neither is then talking about your "friend" behind her back when she did a lot for you she could share but isn't going to because it's not her story to share.
I'm done, i've made my point several times and then some and this thread is now far off topic. I don't expect anyone to fully agree or "be on my side" but you can't deny some of it doesn't make sense too....or are we still ridding around in our high school attitude cliques talking about who made out with who and only listening/believing the "popular" kids.....
To reiterate:
glass houses people....watch your words
I graduated high school, did you?
DONE! DONE! DONE!

| Apple pie. But the apples have to be sliced in really thin slices, and packed almost solid. I don't like it when it's all big chunks of apple with lots of liquid.

| Perhaps I could've worded that better...I'm just sayin' that if the original post by the OP had included that they were even considering getting a new puppy, the responses in this thread would've been much different. That piece of information was very relevant to the topic (JMHO)and ultimately, you opted to speak for the dogs...
Banberry pie, yummmmmm....strawberries, bananas, pudding-like filling, and whip cream...what's not to love! |

| I also like chocolate merengue (sp?) pie. I don't make it too often though, because of the humidity. High humidity makes merengues "weepy" and kind of gooey.

| Ya know. I thank Kate for taking Juno for a week. But she also tried to keep her AND tried to tell me how to handle her. No, I trained her well. Anyone can tell you that. She has some issues but hey, at least she listens and I can handle her most of the time.
I'm a full time student, trying to get a full time job, AND I'm moving out at 17. I still manage to get Juno straight and in classes. She's always my top priority. Working with all I do (plus with getting a job, school, farm, AND band Managment that I'm doing) I say I keep myself composed pretty damn well. Money is always right but I don't bitch about it on the net. I may have lost some "friends" but I'm sticking up for what I believe in.
