| Anyone Into Tea? I'm not a fan of coffee so I drink tea in the morning. I haven't tried many of the loose leaf teas yet, but am thinking that I'd really like to get into that more. I've tried a few of Teavana's teas and have liked them and just learned about Adagio. Just curious if anyone's had experience with Adagio? Or if there's other places that I should look at that might not be so pricey?

| Oh! Me!
I haven't tried out Adagio but I buy my tea from the teatable . com it comes loose leaf by the ounce and they offer a ton of samples to find what you like. I love the prices, they ship quickly and are very helpful anytime I have a question.
I am in love with the Buckingham Palace tea and their Winter White Earl Grey. |

| I LOVE tea... but I only buy mine from a local place. They have a website: Gong Fu Tea Many of their teas are reasonably priced... others, not so much.

| I am obsessed with tea and my collection is vast. Every time I go to Teavana they "trick" me into buying too much.
My favorite tea is the Gyokoru Imperial. I can spice it up, or drink it plain. That said they came out with a new almond caramel something tea that I just love.
I buy some of the Republic of Tea stuff from whole foods... and have one canister of Rishi but it is gross.
If anyone can point me in the direction of a chocolate chai I would be grateful. I found one in (of all places) Publix grocery store about a year and a half ago. I thought it was excellent but it was discontinued.
Still searching for a chocolate chai made of black tea.

| Just bought my dd a cast teapot for her birthday. It's awesome & I highly recommend one for anyone who likes tea. (It was expensive.) She's been going to Teavana.
I like a good English Breakfast made in one of my Denby teapots. I'm a traditionalist.

| Being British, I drink a lot of tea Everyday tea in this house is notmally Williamson Earl Grey and orange tea, but we do have quite a large selection of tea from Fortnum and Masons. They do a Christmas chai which is lovely and spicey. Tea | Fortnum and Mason |

| I helped to start and managed a tea house in buffalo NY for 2 years. Adagio is great, and they have those wonderful sample packs you can order, so you can try all different types of tea. I have tried EVERY SINGLE TEA Adagio has, so if there are any you have questions about, PM and I can easily answer them. I am a super tea snob; once we opened the cafe, I never drank coffee again... the difference in my health, skin, and hair when I started drinking 3 glasses of tea a day was ridiculous. |

| Usually a coffee drinker but I also love tea. I think Republic of Tea teas are great for trying out new flavors - very reasonably priced. I particularly love their ginger peach tea. My go-to tea is a simple English breakfast blend.

| Fresh and Easy, a store out here owned by UK-based Tesco, used to have a chocolate tea that I just loved.
Otherwise, I typically order some sort of tea when my work team go to Starbucks (I enjoy the walk, mostly). Work provides us with a selection of cheapish teas, but at my old cubicle I had an entire drawer of different teas - green honey lemon for days with bad allergies, black breakfast for days when I'm starting slower than usual, and herbals for when I just want something tasty.
I think my favorite was a mango that someone gave me in exchange for building a site for them (it was an animal rescue - if anyone knows any rescues looking for someone to maintain them, this one recently disappeared due to the rescuers having some very serious health issues ). They sent me a large box, which I've kept as a memento - I've vowed to never finish off those teas so that I keep those memories of someone who touched my life quite positively.
Anyway, now that I've digressed...
I also love tea sets. I have one "special" cup I got from Teavana as a gift - a lovely porcelain with gold/blue detailing. I really love their sets, too - I just can't wait until I can designer-ize my house properly to show them off.

| I am a HUGE tea drinker and its Davids Tea all the WAY! DAVIDsTEA - Buy Loose Leaf Tea Online
It is soooo yummy though a little expensive. I find the best thing to do it buy online and you get free shipping over 50$ PLUS three free samples (that they choose). I have an entire shelf dedicated in my home and office for loose tea.

| I wasn't really that into tea. I was a coffee fiend... until I started getting nauseous while pregnant and now even just the thought of coffee makes me literally gag.
So I switched to tea Still hot and comforting in the morning, and doesn't smell like vomit lol
I haven't really played around with different ones or exotic brands since I just buy them at the grocery store. I don't like the weird spicey ones though. I've been drinking Twinnings English Breakfast Tea and I'm liking that one.

| I've been having a cup of milk tea for morning for 5 years. Definitely it SHOULD be the Fortnum and Mason's Royal Blend! Their canisters are lovely and I collect them to reuse planting the herbs in the kitchen.
If flavored or exotic teas, I used to buy from Simpson & Vail. You can order to try new flavors by small amount. Simpson & Vail - High Quality, Specialty Teas since 1929

| During the week, I drink coffee, but on the weekends, I drink tea. About the most "exotic" tea I drink is Darjeeling or Oolong. I usually prefer either Irish or English Breakfast blends. One of my favorites, though, is Bigelow's Cinnamon Stick. Yum.

| Thank you for the 2 links to the chocolate Chai. The night of the Iguana says it has white chocolate in it, yet the reviews say it has a traditional chocolate flavor.
I might go with the Adagio chocolate chai. Hope it is well spiced.
The third option would be mixing my own which sometimes just doesn't work out.
I also love Teavana's blooming teas. The strawberry misaki is just wonderful. Strawberry Misaki Blooming White Tea at Teavana | Teavana
My dad likes the peach momataro so that's what he got for father's day this year. It is a bit lighter on the flavor so I personally let that one steep a bit longer.

I ordered the chai sampler from Adagio, and my favorite by far was the Thai Chai (surprise!) The chocolate chai is ok, but it has a minty flavor (to me), and I dont like chocolate mint. Cinnamon and chocolate is great, but chocolate and mint makes me cringe.
I also got a sample of their Black Dragon Pearls, and that is really yummy.

| Hmm not sure how I haven't seen this before.
I'm both a coffee and tea drinker. We don't have any nice tea shops around here though so I usually just drink Twining's English breakfast. Loose leaf at least, I think the taste between loose leaf and bagged (even from the same company) is noticeable.
I also drink barley and green tea. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |
