| Gift for 13 Yr. Old Boy Every year I do The Salvation Army Treasures for Children. What's popular among 13 yr. old boys these days? Between $15 and $20. Thanks! |

| Hmmm, that's a tough age. I know my mom always gets my cousin itunes gift cards and he's about that age.

| My brother is 13, he asks for games for his DS and PS3 and iTunes gift cards to get games for his iPod touch lol.
Non-electronics he asks for books. Can't remember specific though. We don't share similar tastes in reading material. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

| What about a comic book or graphic novel? Those are usually around $20 new (assuming they're not some kind of collector ). BF is really into comics and graphic novels and he said he'd recommend Bone for a 13-year old boy who may or may not have ever read one before.

| My 14 year old son just said he wouldn't mind having a pair of aviator sunglasses. You might be able to find an inexpensive pair. My son likes sweats, pajama bottoms, b'ball shorts (they like them long). Good luck! I'll be following this post, I'm always looking for ideas. |

| You might be able to find one of those little remote controlled flying helicopters--they have some cheap versions out. I also saw an automatic rubber band shooting machine--cheaper than you want, but it did look like fun.
I suppose all water guns and other plastic guns that shoot foam bullets, rockets, etc. are out??

| No violent gifts - guns, knives, etc.
Without any idea what the kid is into it's tough. I guess I'm trying to avoid anything towards one extreme - would hate to get a football for a kid who isn't into sports, a graphic novel for the kid who never reads, etc.
Although I am in general a fan of gift cards - get what you want - I don't think they are what they're looking for for this. |

| I always like getting them a good book. Maybe non-fiction and 'how it's made' type book or Tom Sawyer! Can't get enough of good literature. |
