| Beards Decided to take the plunge, be a man, and grow an epic beard. So far I've gone a month without shaving (aside from my neck and trimming my moustache) Basically I look close to picture #4.
Which one should I go for?
I'm leaning towards #1, but #2 would be interesting.
#1
#2
#3
#4
#5
#6
If anyone else have some interesting beard pictures I would like to see them.

| Strive for #4 and see how much longer you can handle it. If all is well, then keep going!
My hubby tried to grow an epic beard and achieved #4. Got sick of it after a while and ended up trimming it all the way down. When he looks at pictures of himself with his big beard, he laughs and says he'll never do that again.

| I like short beards. If a beard gets much longer than #4, it's like it always has bits of food in it and feels all greasy and icky.
Unless you launder it regularly. LOL

Unless you launder it regularly. LOL | Oh yes. I shampoo and condition it. I've had a couple moments of food getting into it but it was really from my own clumsiness

That would probably take 3 or 4 years.
I'm hoping to make it to one year.

| ok, basically this is what's up...
2 months ago my 3 year relationship ended something fierce.
Over those years I had tried desperately to convince her to let me grow a beard, which resulted in harsh consequences of no lovin (weak)...so, now that I'm free again...it's my opportunity to get er done.
I'll see if I can upload a pic of my current progress a little later.

| I like #4 but nothing longer than that. I actually prefer some facial hair on a guy. Personally I love the scruffy "I haven't shaved for 2-3 days" look. I think most men look way better with some stubble/few days growth than without.
And I burst out laughing when I saw option #6. Thanks for the laugh.

| My husband looks like number 4 (only a lot greyer). Frankly, if he shaved, I might not recognize him. He had the beard when we met.

But since you're on relationship hiatus by all means- go for it.
And I'll stop before I say something awful, cuz unless it's a finely chiseled muzzle style, not into beards. Have fun. Dye it funky colors LOL |

| My husband of 35 years has almost always had facial hair. He plays with it a lot... just moustache, m with goatee, full beard, half beard, sculpted, biblical... and it somewhat depended on the type of music he was playing, or the season... he "wears" them well, but would look like a biker Santa if he "ZZ Top-d" it. I think it really depends on your face and beard growth... play with it! We had an employee with a fairly long beard which he braided into 2 side-by-side braids. Odd but neat. A cousin worked his into dreads. Would have made more sense if his hair was, too! I really like facial hair, but it has to fit the man and his style or attitude, imo.
