| Moody Gardens photo These are hybrid macaws at Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX. If you are ever in the Gaveston area, it's worth a visit. They have a rain forest exhibit, where these guys are, and an aqaurium with all sort of critters, including penguins.
For the techinical minded, this was taken with a Minolta X-700 set on Program (all I had to do was focus). The lens is a Kalimar 80-200mm zoom, and the film is Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 800. |

| Gorgeous birds! I had a Moody Gardens trip planned but it was cancelled since my boyfriend had to go into surgery that day, but hopefully soon enough I will make it out there!! |

| It's facinating. The rainforest exhibit is very humid (even for SE TX), and they have orchids, bromeliads, the macaws, and even a sloth (but he's hard to find). The aquarium has fish, sharks, rare seahorses, and of course, the penguins. I hope you can get to go.
By the way, how is your boyfriend doing? Better, I hope. |

| I haven't been to Moody Gardens since I was a little kid, so I am definitely overdue for a visit! Would love to see the sloth!
Sean is doing excellent, thanks for asking! Kidney is pretty much at full function |
