| What have you laughed at today? Here are a few things I've laughed at today... Hyperbole and a Half: This is Why I'll Never be an Adult Hyperbole and a Half: The Party For anyone who doesn't realize it, The Onion (see links below) is a satirical newspaper. Not real news. Some people get very upset when they think its reporting real news. Also, a fair warning is that it can have some offensive content; so, if you get easily offended, please don't check it out and then complain about the link. | Hyperbole and a Half is one of the funniest sites on the web.. I think "This is Why I'll Never Be an Adult" is one of the most hilarious things I've ever read. I was literally laughing so hard I was crying when I read it the first time...
Have you read the ones about her dogs? Hyperbole and a Half: Dogs Don't Understand Basic Concepts Like Moving Hyperbole and a Half: Dog

| | Alpha | Umm, I'm a big fan of fmylife and Not Always Right...but really the thing that made me chuckle the most...
I had a bit of a headache, so I put on a disney movie and snuggled up on the sofa for a nap. The dogs had all been exercised and were happily sleeping on their beds in the living room.
I woke up about a hour later with a Pomeranian nesting on my head, a Pomeranain-Cross licking my toes, and a Dobermann for a footrest X____x I knew I was a really deep sleeper, but c'mon!

| I <3 Hyperbole and a Half! The checkboxes with the dog and the squeek toy cracked me up. ^_^
Webcomics I read: Sluggy Freelance ~ Isn't it Nifty? Long-running comic, sometimes very funny sometimes more dramatic. Bonus: has ferret! xkcd: Positive Attitude ~ "Warning: this comic occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children), unusual humor (which may be unsuitable for adults), and advanced mathematics (which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors)." questionablecontent.com ~ (current arc not being exactly the funniest, admittedly) I'm not indie or hip and I don't even drink coffee and this is STILL a fun read.
If you have some time, 1/0 is exactly 1000 strips long and a fun, somewhat thoughtful read
Blogs: The Manor of Mixed Blessings ~ saving the world one feral kitty at a time, with aid from one DoberDiva, one "pointy-eared fetchy dog," a toothless cat and a slew of other cast members.

| OMG - LMFAO!!!!!! They made him eat his beard?! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I'm surprised he grew it back...isn't his replacement beard a reminder of the night he ate his old one? What if another lawn-mower argument arises? Holy cow - I have heard it all now!
ETA...If I ever heard someone say "knowed" in person, I'd just have to high-five them. I'm not sure there's anything else to be done about that. LOL I <3'd his hat too.

I hear my neighbors say "knowed" about a billion times a day. Beard-eaters. You can't make this kind of person up, really you cannot.

| Two more of my favorites: Cake Wrecks
Of course I have to point you to the smutty entries first: Cake Wrecks: It's About Standards
And: Cake Wrecks: Funny Business
There's more smut, but I'd hate for y'all to think that is my sole focus in reading CakeWrecks.
This one still kills me--she doesn't blog anymore I don't believe. Truly a loss: You Knit What??: August 2005

| First off, thanks RFR. I've never been afraid of clowns until cake wrecks.
And I lost it when I read the knitting blog and got to the part about picturing herself stuffing her car full of yarn and cats. LMAO!! (Some of the other stuff - sweaters and such - makes me a little sad and confused...what are those people thinking?!)
ETA...The Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater might be the worst...best? Quote:
