Posted mine in a thread but seen as this one has been bumped I will post them in this one too!

This was my first tattoo that I had done out in Thailand when I was 16 (7 years ago) I am trying to persuade my hubby to let me get it reworked into something else. I don't regret having this done but I wouldn't mind updating it!

This was my second I had done when I was 17 and I had it because I liked it and it was pretty lol

And my last one I had done when I was 18!

I have 4 Ravens "flying" around my shoulder. There is an old Scandinavia folk lore that when you pass your soul is released as a Raven to watch over your family, and only after your loved ones accept your passing can your soul leave the Raven.

I'll have to have my husband take a picture of it when he gets home.

For me, the most pain was near the wrist. Top and bottom.

I have some sorta bio mechanical flowers right up under my arm near my arm pit... Those hurt to the point of a whole nother level. It was more than the needles on my skin, it was messing with my nerves deep down I swear.

Iv got a sleeve and some shoulder coverage. Still working but the going is slow

Here is a picture of my OH's Tattoo, it was taken just after it was done and looks much better now. If fact I think it is awsome.

This is the original photo that was used

This a a rough sketch that I drew from the same picture

Skye was a fantastic girl that we both miss very much, she sadly lost her fight with cancer and my OH was devastated.

Now he always has her by his side and carries a few of her hairs with him were ever he goes.

my tattoo guy left his current business and is starting his own. He's going to be giving me serious discounts....which is good and bad news! lol

this is my next one, which will go nicely along with my other music inspired tattoos for my right sleeve.

I don't have pics, but I have lots of ink

Swallows on front of each shoulder
Baby footprints walking up right forearm
Nursing mother pinup on left forearm
Nautilus 1/4 sleeve on right arm
Bad Religion logo w/skull and lotus on entire left shoulder blade
cherries tramp stamp (only one that I regret! lol)

And most recent, Mario on my right calf, in memory of my little brother, 9/1/86 - 9/18/12
Next I'll add Luigi standing next to Mario. Eventually my whole right leg will be devoted to Super Mario Bros.

I have one small tattoo, on my ring finger. It's my husband's initials "MAL" ( his real "signature initials" so to speak ). He has my name on his ring finger as well. I also want to get some other tattoos, when money permits.

I just saw this thread. I have to admit that I love to see tattoos, and I always fancied having one, but don't know where, afraid it will hurt (it will have to be very small) and then I think, what if I regret it years down the line?

You got to get ones that mean something to you. It can hurt, depending where it goes.

Ditto,

My first one was for my grandparents, just in case I couldn't stand to do it again it had to mean something, I'd also plan small!

It does hurt, how much is up to each Persons tolerance, for me I find it an irritating pain, I don't want to cry I want to hit something more or less lol.

It's, for me at least, like repetitive bee stings or being jabbed with a pen repeatedly. On my wrists though it really isn't that bed except over the tendons, that's the only actual painful part the rest just annoying.
Bonus is you can take a lot of breaks with the right and patient artist.
