I saw that!

I think it should be a regular thing... Every week you must post at least 1 Parker picture

I mean now that the 21st wasn't the day who knows when it will be... I mean it might still happen :p We could have had the day wrong

Really? I always found Bethesda Games to be too short.... Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Doom 3, etc.... I could sit in the world of Tamriel for days

so we are still here... hmmmmmm <rubs chin>

at brother's house in North Carolina watching his big huge flat screen with a quad-zillion cable channels.. some history channel talking about pyramids and stuff... really thought provoking.

There are pyramids all over the world - some thought to be older than Egypt pyramids.. some in China (covered up with plants deliberately), Mayan pyramids in Mexico, some in Bosnia (thought the Bosnian archeologist is being snubbed by the pyramid snobs).. theory that some extraterrestrials helped humans setup a network of pyramids around the globe.

and interesting aspect of the pyramid in Egypt - it is uniquely viewed from the sky only as having 8 sides when the sun hits it at precise angles. So how did an ancient civilization design and construct something knowing it would need to be viewed from the sky to see it's full dimension?

And the is a Mayan-Georgia connection - some dudes are uncovering evidence that the Mayans made it to Georgia (USA).

So maybe the Mayans scrubbed the clock they were working on and had to get the heck out of dodge for some reason and the updated clock is somewhere else..

or, maybe, all the pyramids on earth have to be rediscovered, uncovered, and activated to send out a calling beacon for the extraterrestrials to come back....

Been waiting for the extraterrestrials for a long time. That's on my "bucket list". To know there is other intelligent life out there. Have you watched the History Channel show about Ancient Aliens. If you have, what is with the guy with the "hair"!

Well of course you can drop by and sample my liquor anytime. However it's store bought as all moonshiners here started growing pot in the '70's. According to the Discovery Channel, you're on top of hooch there!

always eager to revive this thread... so maybe we aren't done quite yet....

mabye the mayans weren't too far off afterall. Maybe something was lost in translation of old carved stone.. a comma was mistaken as a period, or rounding error.. whatever. what if 2012 was really 2032 or something?

reason being...

it always makes sense to try and hit things from different angles, use available information, test alternate theories (or conspiracies)...

not meant to be a Catholic church discussion, but, anyone familiar with the Malachy prophesy regarding the last 10 popes?

following that prophesy, it's likely the current Pope Benedict, now retiring was #9. The last Pope - #10 - is "Peter the Roman". A top contending Cardinal for the job is an African cardinal, Peter Turkson. queue Twilight Zone music...

so if the Malachy prophesy is accurate, during the tenure of "Peter the Roman" the city of 7 hills (Rome) will be destroyed, the Pope exiled, and basically all heck will break loose.. the end times.

Interesting to watch how this plays out...

So... about that asteroid coming our way. Interestingly it will be on Galileo's birthday (and I only know that because it's my birthday as well).
