| D-Day -5: 5am roof leaks again...but in different spots so I have to get out of bed to move the buckets. Meh. The storms the last 2 mornings have been nothing like normal summer storms. I suspect the world is attempting (evolution at work) to get mouldy before it goes...spores have a better chance of surviving an apocalypse 
meh.

| D-Day -3 : Some bug took over my computer today. it took 4 attempts and 10 minutes to load. Plus all my cookies were wiped out. ...but no bugs were found in a scan....weirrrrd.
It's probably some secret intelligence agency wanting to pay close attention to my weather observations...or because I give my friends new identities and disguise their appearances in the life-like drawings I do of them.
This is the end of the world...where all weird things become conspiracy and there's nothing natural about the weather.
other than that...meh, it's just another day.

| D-Day - 2 : Still here. It's overcast and humid which is really weird for an island this close to Antarctica. I am madly trying to use up all my hoarded LUSH bubble bath bars (I'm 300kms away...or a 1hr flight... from the closest store...so I have to make sure I have a steady supply stashed). So I am spending most of my final days in my bath.
I went grocery shopping yesterday...there were so many specials and seeing as its the last few days I treated myself to chocolates, brie cheese, and some cans of bourbon. I also bought 2 bottles of BBQ sauce...which may have been overkill to my requirements, but meh...they were less than half price! If there's barbequed animals everywhere in 2 days time...I'm ready to go out with a full belly (I'm mostly vegetarian usually).
