That doomday preppers makes me laugh, they are all talking about the end of the world and being ready. Then they go and build a bomb shelter 6feet under the ground with all this organised food and emergency stuff.
If the worlds ending, why build anything?
Meh it best not end ive just got my little monster, !

| Glad someone revived this thread. I just want to be all moved upstairs now that the renovations are finally coming to an end and all my stuff in some sort of order. Then I will sit with a nice large glass of wine in the sunroom, petting Baron, and watch it end!!! LOL Guess everyone realizes that day is going to come and go just like any other day!

| Either the world will end, or it won't. Worrying about it won't stop it, will it?
Seems to me that in 1999, everyone was freaking out about "Y2K", and how civilization would collapse into chaos, because the computers wouldn't be able to turn over to the year 2000.
Last year(?) was supposed to be "the end of the world" (or maybe the "rapture"), according to some preacher, but after nothing happened, he claimed he had "misclculated" the date. This was after thousands of his followers had literally disposed of ALL their possesions, quit their jobs, etc., and prepared to be "lifted up".

| I totally forgot about "dooms day" until I saw this thread. If it happens, I hope it's after 5PM when I'm at home and not in traffic or at work. Cause that would REALLY suck.

Well, except for the doomsday preppers that have something to heat their hovels with.
Hey, as long as there is life, there is hope. Hate to be around the hoarding mobs running around the streets stealing gas, food, cars, etc. |

| Earth is better off without humans living on it anyway. Look around and see all the smog, all the wasted energy, all the garbage, all the corruption, all the selfish decisions etc.
Take a look at water that has been untouched by humans versus some lakes that you cannot swim in after it rains due to pollution...it's sad.
Bring on the carnage, I'll have a good view of it from the 20th floor of my apartment.
Although I doubt any of it is going to happen.

Korea just happens to be named the country of the calm morning.
Psy's Gangnam Style main dance is a horse dance.
Based on the calculation of the current slope of increase in views, it is very probable that Gangnam Style will hit 1,000,000,000 views (9 zeros) on YouTube on December 21st.
Think about THAT for a minute... | Seems legit!

| When, exactly, on the 21st is it supposed to end? Cause if it ends in the morning, I won't have to worrry about driving out to California. If it ends in the afternoon or evening, we'll have already started out, and all that stress of getting out on the road will have been for nothing.

This has to do with the heavenly planets lining up just perfectly which is supposed to cause an earth mantle shift of the poles...north to south and south to north. Should make for a rough roller coaster ride, complete with hellfire and brimstone, oceans everywhere, tall buildings falling, people running screaming and all. Didn't you watch any of the Doomsday movies of late? One was pretty good, one sorry and one was one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my lifetime. Quote:

I am going to sit at home with Parker, chill, drink some wind, take Parker for a last car ride and a play in the backyard.

If the pet sitter doesn't feel comfortable about taking care of the bird (he's not friendly), I or my husband will be taking him to the people we got him from, so he can stay with them.
