| At least we will have our Dobes with us. The only thing we have to worry about is Obama getting back in office! |

Politicians are ALL stupid. None will be raptured. They can watch the pets. On contract, of course. Dog biscuits cost $100 a piece, and must be ordered by the pallet. |

| This is not a political thread But, I must now say, at least Obama didnt get us into a needless war that killed over 4000 of our boys and wounded probably 10 times that many, many permanently. Obama killed Bin Laden after only 3 years in office! And hasnt reached way back to reclassify/seal information previously unsealed, hasnt held secret/classified meetings with Big Oil, run us off into the ditch in debt, trampled on our civil rights and tried to start a secret police. Of course, if you think it is alright for your husband, father, brother to just disappear off the street never to be heard from again w/o a right to a lawyer or able to notify anyone, Bush was the man for you. Jeez, I could go on forever. Anyone ever read, "Drilling and Killing for Chevron Oil"? Interesting little read. Now remember, this IS NOT A POLITICAL THREAD. We already had one of those. Start another if you want one!!! THIS THREAD IS ABOUT THE END OF THE WORLD! Peace...and Merry Christmas!

But lets not get political

| Sherryh, oh well, soon there will truly be a "new world order" and the suvivors can duke it out as to who runs whats left. I love the way this thread has gone, too, some really good laughs in it...///////Screw the mountaintop idea, I think I will gather all my wealth together and buy a ticket for me and Parker, via Russian spaceship, to the space station for the duration of Mother Earth's change of life as we know it!

| Being serious for a minute, I am not at all worried about the 2012 hype. Yes, I've read about it and have done my research, but ultimately my religion is what leads me. I'm a Christian and believe that only God knows when the world will end. The Bible itself says that, and I believe it. Man has been obsessed with predicting the end for as long as we've been around, and we've always failed. I would rather spend my life enjoying each day and living for the moment than wasting time worrying about how I will die. If I die on December 21, 2012 than so be it....nothing I can do now will change that. If I die in 90 years, nothing will change that either. I'm not wasting my time stressing about it

I've enjoyed reading the other replies to this thread.....funny stuff. If and when the end does come, I hope I have some people around me with a sense of humor

| There was recently a "tsunami" scare from that quake off Canada. It was smaller and further away than the one from Japan (which had zero impact on Hawaii) and yet everyone was still freaking out. Go figure the first wave that hit us was a MASSIVE 5 feet. Lol the next day, tourists everywhere were buying shirts that said "I survived the oahu tsunami 2012"

| if the world IS ending, there will be no safe spot - at least none I'd want any part of - the colony on Mars that Cheney and friends will retire to just isn't my cup of tea!
DR - if the world's ending, what's the point of spending your money - no time to enjoy it... do stuff like let Q eat all the crap you've been withholding - heck, maybe the Dobergas will cloud everything, and the magnetic poles won't be able to invert due to the density! hehehe. It's really a shame - my son turns 31 on the 20th, and the next day, the world careens off into oblivion!

| I normally don't believe in this doomsday crap but I saw this a couple days ago...
"From the calm morning, the end will come.
When of the dancing horse
The number of circles will be 9"
- Nostradamus, 1503
Korea just happens to be named the country of the calm morning.
Psy's Gangnam Style main dance is a horse dance.
Based on the calculation of the current slope of increase in views, it is very probable that Gangnam Style will hit 1,000,000,000 views (9 zeros) on YouTube on December 21st.
Think about THAT for a minute...
Bah who am I kidding? I still don't believe it lol

| Thanks Burns! Finally a story without a bunch of ELEVENS in it.....
What ticks me off, is a teen friend and I made up a horse dance to the song Day Tripper......if only we had the internet then, everyone would be doing it. |
