Does anyone know if there really is such a thing. With no strings attached! And they won't be calling or texting your cell phone for stupid stuff?

I download ringtones from computer some I have paid for some free.
I have never ever had one company phone or text me to promote business.
Nor have they ever emailed my computer.
Just the one email to receive it and nothing ever after.
I have been getting ringtones for about five years.

I have US Cellular and they usually have one or two new ringtones each month if I go in and check. They are usually goofy holiday ones though. I've always been scared to try online ones too.

I have T-Mobile and they sell ringtones and wallpapers for like $1.50 or $2.00. If they don't have what I'm looking for I google the free ones. Never had any problems so far.

My phone is decked out for Halloween! I have the Halloween theme for a ringtone and an animated black cat for wallpaper. I love Halloween!

Yes there is it's called Myxer - Download Ringtones and More most are free and if not they say so. They also have wall paper and other stuff to. Try and let me know what you think?

using the browser on your phone go to 3gforfree.com and search thru them. The last time I used this, there were no strings attached. I have sprint too.

I agree with Wetmech. My Sidekick doesn't let me download free tones but the site Wetmech provided was the place I got ringtones from when I had a "regular" cell phone.

There are programs that you can use to make your own to get the exact clip you want.
There are paid programs that do it in a couple of steps or free programs that take more steps Free Ringtones | Create Free Music Ringtones how to make sprint ringtones - Google Search
There is also a free uploader that works with sprint phones where you can upload them and have them sent to your phone. Phone Uploader or you can use bitpim.

Sprint ringtones are in qcp format so many made for other phone brands won't work on sprint phones. I think some of the newer sprint phones will use mp3 format but I have verizon now so I haven't kept up with sprint. They do have a forum SprintUsers.com Message Forum and thier own uploader http://www.sprintusers.com/focus/ .

Sprint will charge you for data transfer if you package does not include data.

I have a lg chocolate now that will use real mp3 clips so I just clip out the part I want using wavepad from a cd and load it to the phone with the cable and bitpim, they don't have to be converted.

some of it sounds pretty easy but I'm chicken to actually put my number in and try it!!!
I'll look at some of the ones suggested. I've never used the browser on my cell phone, figured it would cost! My cheap husband will balk if it costs actualy money!!!
