| Send good thoughts my way please!!! So it has been a roller coaster ride for me the last few weeks. I have had my house on the market for about 5 1/2 months. The market SUCKS but I got a offer on it about 3 weeks ago. We signed all the finalized paperwork on Friday afternoon. Technically they told me that not everything goes through till today so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send positive vibes my way!!! They lady buying it seems REALLY excited and wants to move in ASAP so everything should be fine but you never know.
Thanks all!!! |

| Oh, I really really hope everything goes through! I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have it sitting on the market for that long! Lots of prayers and good vibed headed your way. I'm sure it will be smooth sailing.

No I have not bought anything else yet. I am a little worried about just jumping back into another house right now plus I need to get some stuff paid down too now that I wont have a house payment!!! I have been looking at a TON of houses that I could rent that allow ALL animals since I have cats and the dobes! I am living with the parents right now which is interesting right now but we are making it work. Good thing that they like all the animals! I moved in with them when the house was put on the market cause I thought it would be easier to show it without all the "kids" (cats and Mia and Duke) in there and the barking Dobes! My parents said that staying as long as is needed is totally fine with them. But I am all about finding something my own again. I am also looking into moving to Idaho where a bunch of my friends are so I have been looking at houses over there too. It was just REALLY hard to settle on something with so much still in the air so now that this is ALMOST a done deal I can start getting serious now! |

I know how it feels like having things hanging and putting everything else on hold because decisions depend on that ONE thing ... argh, what a yucky feeling. I hope you hear back real quick on a firm close to your house, and good luck with finding a good rental for you and your "kids"!!

| 5 1/2 months is not too bad in todays market. I have seen some really nice houses here in KY on the market for over a year. I will be sure to send a prayer your way that it all goes through. I hope you get another house soon, when you know where you want to live for sure. The house payments are just as cheap as most rent ,so if you know you are staying awhile, I would buy another. Good luck whichever way you go and keep us in the loop. Your parents sound wonderful. |

Ours was for sale for a year before we finally gave up and rented it out. We were between a rock and a hard place with it, the developers in the area had gone crazy building new homes that were in the same price range as our older home, and with land available cheaply (like it was in that area) there was no end to the sprawl.
Good luck!
