| So Randy said....... We were on the couch last night, and Randy asked me if we had any popcorn. We didn't, and I told him so. He then proceeded to pout and say I didn't love him, because if I did I'd have popcorn, so therefore his theory is correct.
I giggled, and jokingly told him that if he loved me that he would get me a puppy.
I was totally expecting his response to be something along the lines of "you're nuts, one dog is enough," but instead he said "if we didn't have a 12 year old dog and you didn't have a bajillion other pets then I would consider it."
Damn. I'm so close LOL! I still don't think all of my (non demanding) pets make up a puppy like he claims though.

| Just keep working him. My husband said there was absolutely no way we would ever keep Jake (our former foster) either. In fact, when we were talking about what to name him, he suggested, "Tenant" or "Guest." LOL. Look what happened with that....

| Stop talking about it. My husband is SO not an animal person. We had 2 ferrets and 3 dogs (and a kitty, but my brother stole her). We also have 2 children (10 and 7) and an 1100sqft house. Anyways, Thurs he's on his motorcycle forum and there's a pic of this puppy being given away and he shows me. I "Awwww'ed" at her and walked away. I didn't mention it again. The next morning he texts me and asks how I'd like the dobie puppy for my birthday! And that's how I came to have Isis
~Jenn
Oh and I forgot to mention - he's always whining about all the animals and how I have too many and stuff! hehehe |
