| Rain shelter for use at dog show I am showing this weekend at a AKC Rally trail, three days, our first real show. I am already nervous and to top it off it's outdoors and the forecast is for rain !!!! Does anyone here use those pop up type canopy or tent. I am thinking of something easy to set up (alone) that would provide protection from the rain while waiting to go into the ring. I have seen many of them at shows used for shade, I didn't see them being set up and was curious how difficult they are to handle. Anyone with experience or information please let me know. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

| when i show outside (which admittedly is rare, since I HATE IT!!!!) i use my ez-up - its best to set up with two people, but i try to show with lydia on those weekends anyway. i could set it up alone, its just a lot harder

| Thank you Doberkim, I was begining to think I am the only one on this board that has to show outside. We have limited shows here and they are all outside, I wish there were inside shows. It would be easier to title my nosey boy if the venue was inside. Thanks for the help, I will try to find an ez-up before Friday.

| I have a pair of first up canopys, 10X10, it takes some practice, but I can put one up by myself, better if there are 2 people. I use a tarp clipped on around the edge to make shade/ protect from rain. they are worth their weight in gold when at an outside venue.

| I used a tent like this http://www.practicalsports.com/trek-deluxe-screen-tent.html when I was doing agility. I still have it in my car and it is one that I can put up and take down by myself although friends were always there to help.

the indoor show season isn't starting for another 2 months, once we hit november there will be lots of indoor shows. you just have to wait - april-oct around here most are outside!

| I wish there would be indoor shows if I just wait. Unfortunately the closest indoors show is in February and in NJ. I am on eastern long island and there are no indoor shows around, the shows in general are few and far between, unless I travel off of the island. With the price of gas and everything now traveling is not in the cards at this point.
