I love Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and have depserately tried to read "Christ The Lord" but can not get through the first chapter.

There is a tie for my all time favorite between King's The Stand and Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

I actually read a write up in the local paper last week about the Twilight series - it peaked my interest and have it on my list of books to check out if I ever have time to make it to the library.

For a great afternoon fluffy read - check out Sunday's at Tiffany's by James Patterson. I read it on the flight between Okinawa and Tokyo - it's a cute and fun book.

I read Harry Potter as well (the last movie is delayed from November to June! - So angry)
And lord of the rings, anything stephen king.

But my all time fav. book is a kind of self help book - "He's just not that into you"
I recommend it for everyone, man, woman, doesnt matter. It changed my life and my whole outlook on relationships and soon to become a movie - but will most likely be terrible.

Ya I heard that some of Anne Rice's books are hard to get through. I forgot that I love the Austen's books too!!! My friend has ALL of them I think. It is funny how you can like sooo many different books. Like Vamp books to Jane Austin books!

Ya if you can you should check out the Twilight series... It gives you a different idea of the Vamps that I like other that what you would think....

O ya I love them!! I like all the Odd Thomas ones and have you read "The Taking" by Dean Koontz??? That is a good different one too!

I heard that they are going to make the last book into 2 different movies which I hope will make it that much better! They can not leave too much out of that story!!!!

Action adventure usually around the ocean. The main guy is always finding himself in troube and how he saves the world. Not realistic but but good

I've read The Taking - I have the book. I can't really pick a favorite because I love them all, but I especially like Strangers and all of the Odd Thomas ones. Odd is the first character that he has used more than once. Oh, and The House of Thunder is great too. Oh, I guess I should stop now because I could talk Dean Koontz all night!

If you like Clive Cussler (I have read them all) Do yourself a favor.. go to the bookstore. Pick up Stephen Hunter "Point of Impact". It is by far one of the best books I have ever read.

I also like Vince Flynn. His Mitch Rapp character is a bad-ass!!!
