In lieu of the holiday season I purchased nearly 40lbs of food so HOPEFULLY I would not need to restock until mid or end January. My giant tupperware container in the basement is filled to the brim with kibble, which doesn't include Rou's food bin in my room. My freezer has a 2 bags of raw medallions...

His treat jar (a 2L Ball's jar for freshness) just restocked with training treats and some chew sticks...

Can you say spoiled?

But could you imagine running out of food in the midst of the holidays?! Taking on as many hours as I can just to keep up with my bills this time of year.

Ugh... Although I must say I love the holidays- now starts the headache and mild panic...

Have a happy black Friday, I'll be working and staying home!!!

I love my quaker. The actual picture was taken the minute I got him out of his cargo carrier (he came from Quaker Parrot Palace in MO - NY via Delta) It was cheaper to fly one then go to Petco and buy one- and around the time I bought him, it was a TERRIBLE quaker breeding season in NY. Plus, I wanted a blue specifically and they are 1k at big chain pet stores. QPP has since shut down (I'm sure I drove them nuts- They refused to ship in December and I didn't get him until March/April... you have to understand, doing everything through the internet, e-mail, paypal, I thought I had been swindled!).

He is my little man and I love him. Luckily he doesn't run out of food nearly as fast as the cat and not nearly as fast as the puppy ]]
