Yeah that I really wanted to feed Elsie orijen and gave it a good go, but she kept having runny poop... Tried Acana when that got released in my country and ended up giving away half of the bag for the same reason. Feed what works for your dog and your wallet Elsie gets 50/50 Pro Plan Performance kibble and K9 Natural pre-made raw and raw meaty bones... She is in great condition.

Prime has a big chest but he has a medium athletic and compact build. Orijen threw his ph off but he does awesome on Acana. My husky and GSD do good on any food I offer them.

I'm reading how much you guys feed and I feed Eli 3 1/2 cups a day of NVL. He ate the same on Acana. He is doing very well in the NVL so I will not change him due to issues he has had. He weighs 78lbs which is perfect for him. I put the new pup on Acana recently, I tried the NV puppy food and that didn't suit him at all, of course it was mixed with his Eukanuba puppy which he came on and eventually (almost a month later) it was mostly the NV puppy and he had gas and runny stools. It wasn't the limited diet but still I had hoped he would have adjusted better to him. He is almost 6 months so I decided to start adding Acana to his Eukanuba and will attempt a total switch after 3 weeks or so. He does well on Eukanuba puppy but I can't stand feeding him that. If he won't adjust to Acana (right now it's just half a cup mixed with his 2 cups Euk twice a day) then I'll just have to stick with Eukanuba but I hope he can transition.

Bishop has been of several different diets. He didn't do well on Origin at first (very gassy and runny stools) but my husband insisted putting him back on because Bishop had plateaued and even lost weight on the Blue Buffalo. Thankfully, his stool is healthy and he is gaining his weight back. Bishop is a year old and is about 75-80 lbs.
Also, I always add olive oil and often add peanut butter to vary it. His coat glistens!
